hi! this week my best friend maddy and i went on a trip to chili!!!
it all started when we went to the airport. we almost missed our fight!!! we were running sooooo fast to try to make it. Gate 12, Gate 13, wheres Gate 14!!!!!!! We got so lost we had to ask an assistent where it was! turns out it was right behind gate13, the one place we didnt look. the assistent led us to it and we made it by the skin of our teeth!!!! Our assistent had to stop the lady from closing the door. we finally made it to our seats and got settled in and i blasted my music so loud the lady by me asked if i coud turn it down cause she was trying to sleep. :/  i was so embarresed!!! i cant believe maddy didnt tell me!

When we landed, we went to our hotel and went straight to our first pitstop, Torres Del Paine National Park. It was such a beautiful site and hike! I hope if ever get a chance to go there! it was kinda chalanging but it was so worth it!! the view, oh the view! when the sun hit the side of the mountain, the snow glistened like a thousand gewel!!

Our next visit was to easter island. the statues were magnifisent and so real! We tried to count how many there were, but it just wasnt posible in our amount of time. The grass was so green and rich!! The statues were HUGE and beautiful!!! I loved to be able to spend so much time there! Before we knew it, it was a hour past when we were suposed to leave!!! i couldnt believe how time had passed!!! We gazed one last time before we left for our next adveture!!!

Next we went to Bahia Inglesa. it was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen in my life!!! The water was so blue and you could see right through it! The fish were my favorite part! There were the most beautiful orange and red fish. Also there were yellow and like a navy blue striped. The best part was that they would let you feel their slimy skin and silky scales!!! I had the most fun in my life there! If I had to choose which one i enjoyed the most, it would be the Bahia Inglesa!!!!

I just got back from my awesome and adventuress trip from the great country of Chile.
Some of the places I went to in Chile is Patagonia. It is a great place for seeing incredible ice glaciers.

Another place I had traveled to is Easter Island. I had discovered the mysterious gigantic heads. It was definitely a great and funny time!

The last place that I had traveled to was Mt. Chillan. It is an awesome mountain for skiing and snowboarding. When I was done snowboarding I enjoyed a nice hot cup of hot chocolate.         Michael Crichton Per. 2

I saw tons of magical heads when I went to Easter Island. There was also a volcano! I also rented out a house that someone was renting out. I learned that Easter island is 2000 miles away from Chile. I also learned that it was discovered by a dutch admiral on Easter Sunday and that's how it got its name. I did some ancient sports too like sliding down a cliff with a banana tree. It was lots of fun.

Kade Sorenson bolivia

I just took a great trip to Bolivia! First I went and saw North Yungas Road. It is one of the most dangerous roads in the world. There are over 300 deaths a year by drivers. Ethan and I were very scared to drive up there to see it and take some pictures. Other names for the road is Death Road.

Then we went to Devil's Tooth in La Paz, Bolivia. It is a very popular tourist attracrtion. Devil's Tooth is a inactive volcano. The height of Devil's Tooth is around 150 meters. It is also very popular for hiking and mountain biking. It was a very fun attraction to go see. Ethan and I went mountain

Last but not least, we went to Cristo de la Concordia, Cochabamba, Bolivia. It is a statue of Jesus Christ. To get to the base of the statue you have to climb 2000 steps. It is the largest statue of Jesus Christ in the world. It is 869 feet high. Ethan and I wanted to come to the top of the statue but we couldn't.

Venezuela - Rebecca S.

Last week I took a trip to Venezuela! One of the first things that I saw there was Salto Angel (Angel Falls). Salto Angel is located in Guayana highlands, Venezuela. It is one of the number one tourist attractions in Venezuela. It is the highest waterfall in the world! Salto Angel's total height is 979m high and has a drop of 807m which is about 16 times the height of Niagara Falls! There was a lot of fog and mist around the base of the waterfall, it felt very cool and refreshing.
Here's some pictures of Salto Angel.

Another place I went on my trip to Venezuela is Teleferico de Merida. It is the highest and longest cable-car system in the world! Teleferico de Merida is located in Parque Las Heronias, Venezuela. While your on Teleferico de Merida you can get some amazing views of the Andes Mountains as long as the clouds aren't blocking the way. It was really cold at such a high altitude, but the view was spectacular. I had such an amazing time!
Here's a picture of the monkeys.

Last on my trip I went on the Andes Skytrek Canopy Tour in Merida, Venezuela. They give zip-lining and canopy tours. I decided to go zip-lining and also go on the canopy tour before I had to go to the airport. On my way down zip-lining I saw a group of monkeys hanging from the trees. During the canopy tours I saw toucans, herons, and parrots. I was scared when I saw an anaconda nearby eating a small rodent. Other than the anaconda, I had a really great time in Venezuela. Maybe I'll go back next year!
Here's a picture of one of the toucans.

My Trip to Colombia

During my trip to Colombia, I went to three attraction sites.  I went to beaches, museums, and parks! I went on one of the most famous beaches, El Valle. I went to a museum called Museo del Oro, where the attractions were about gold. Parque Nacional Natural Isla Gorgona was a park that I went to.
While I was at El Valle, I got to surf the waves just like my mother did when she was younger. I also got to witness the Estacion Septiembre, which is an event where turtles lay there eggs between September through December.
After my visit to El Valle, I went to the museum called Museo del Oro. This museum was renovated as a gold museum with over 55,000 pieces of gold. Luckily, the museum has descriptions of the pieces of gold in Spanish and in English. There were three floors of this amazing place. The first floor was just pieces of gold on display from different regions of Colombia. The second floor was about how to get the gold in the many regions of Colombia. And the last floor was about how the gold was used in rituals.
The final attraction that I went to visit was Parque Nacional Natural Isla Gorgona. This is a national park, but it wasn't in 1960-1984. Between those years, the park used to be a prison. The flooring of the park was just like being in a prison and before you enter, guards would inspect your bags for any fishing gear. The only main reason that I came here was to go scuba diving and whale-watching.

Mar del Plata Las Rocas

this was an amazing city the beach covered a great distance and the beutiful parks kept made me come back more and more. It was like i kept seing the park for the first time over and over again.
I also went to see the Iquazu resort. The hotel was well put together and the pool was enormouse. And the good thing was that the falls was right behind this hotel.

Max I. Venezuela trip

Hello, its me Max, I visited Venezuela last week, and I have some new adventures to share!
Choroní
http://www.venezuelatuya.com/tour/indexeng.htm

This was the first  place I visited, the water was so clear you can see right through it, we got our boat through a way we could find it was so clear that it looked like the boat was floating in mid-air! The water was so fresh it felt like you can smell the water and the temperature was perfect and the trees made it so beautiful
I didn't want to move away from the place! It was very exciting place, I couldn't wait till the next place we were going too!

We were so close to the waterfall, There was a cut off on the landscape this waterfall was so long about 1000+ feet long, there was a place near it we could swim and ride boats, once the waterfall got larger with water the amount of noise was loud it hurt my ears, but I swam further away and could hear it just right, once I went under water you can hear the waterfall's tremendous noise like a hurricane underwater, it was so fun! The landscape was fascinating and had a good view.

I went hiking over these mountains it was fun, but also hard, we had to stop and take a rest a lot of times
this mountain was so tall, it was so hard to climb up and down these slopes. Once I tripped and fell over and almost fell over a couple hundred feet down, it was horrific, but we kept going, there was a hot boiling river, we saw a couple snakes but, they slithered away, I also saw a Lizard and he hid, before I could catch it.
The animals were very shy or scared of humans, we also so this hiker who was climbing up a challenging slope, he made it then slid all the way down and made it to the car lot, I tried sliding too, it was so fun like I was sledding on sand!

I went to Venezuela for a week! it was fun. First I went to Parque los Chorros. It has the only natural water fall in Venezuela! It was huge! It had mountain springs and lush vegetation that would make a grown man cry, besides me. :) It was quiet and relaxing.

         My trip to Venezuela!

On my amazing trip to Venezuela I visited 3 amazingly fun places called: Henri Pittler National Park, Margarita Island, The Plains-Los Llanos. They were so fun to go to with some friends. There was so much to do at those places and let me talk about them to you. Henri Pittler National Park it is a very popular weekend getaway down there. It is also a hiking trail that brings you to the coast.

Next I'm going to talk about Magarita Island. It's on the eastern side of the island and it's famous for great clubs and giant hotels. It has beaches built for surfing and a great atmosphere. The western side offers paradise of arid mountains as well as man made swamps and lagoons.

Lastly, the Plains-Los Llanos is up there on one of my favorite places to be there. It has lots of grassland and woodland plains that stretch from Colombia into Venezuela. It is worth visiting in the wet seasons and good for birdwatchers in the dry. The plains also have lots of wildlife to admire.
